Background and Personal

Coach Jenn Fresques fell in love with track and field at the young age of 10 and discovered her passion for hurdles at 12—an event that has brought her immense joy ever since. In high school, she competed in hurdles, relays, and the heptathlon, breaking the state record in the 300m hurdles, winning a state title in the 4x400m relay, and finishing as the runner-up in the 100m hurdles. Jenn continued her track career at the University of Utah, where she set multiple school records and was the leading scorer for both the women's and men's teams. Beyond the competition, track and field shaped her life in many ways, even leading her to meet her husband on the team. Now, Coach Jenn is thrilled to give back to the sport that has given her so much by coaching the talented student-athletes at NHS. A proud mother of three incredible boys, she loves the outdoors and enjoys boating, skiing, biking, running, hiking, watching her boys compete in sports, and spending time with her family.
