I. News and Announcements
We had another really good week of training. I am so excited to see how everyone runs at Snow Canyon this weekend. I think you’re prepared to do well. That said, remember that this race is all part of the longer process of improvement and development. Take it as the opportunity it is, go into with a plan prepared to give your best, and, regardless of the result, it will give us important information that we can use to improve our preparation going forward!
A. Register My Athlete
Speaking of Snow Canyon…in order to participate, you *must* have completed Register My Athlete (with a current physical) and have paid fees prior to the meet in order to be able to run. There are no exceptions to this. So, get it done if you haven’t already!
B. Snow Canyon Registrations
Here is who I have currently registered to run at Snow Canyon:
Aaron Eskelson – 1600M (Friday), 3200M (Saturday)
Nate Eskelson – 1600M (Friday), 3200M (Saturday)
Jeffrey Hazard – 1600M (Friday), 3200M (Saturday) (maybe)
Lily Griffith – 3200M (Saturday)
Evelyn Cook – 3200M (Saturday)
If people are able, I would love to have athletes join me for lunch on Saturday. I’ll buy. The Tuellers are coming down as well, and will also be invited.
C. Uniforms
You will be running under the school team at Snow Canyon and all meets going forward. If you need a uniform, please talk to Ashley or Coach Harwood ASAP. They have all the uniforms now. You will be eligible to get a uniform as soon as you have paid your fees and finished Register My Athlete. Nate and Aaron — if you plan on wearing the speed suits, please clear this with Ashley before you leave on Thursday.
II. Weekly Training
We’ll have a few different variants of training this week. Nate, Aaron, and potentially Jeffrey will be racing on Friday and Saturday, Lily and Evelyn will be racing on Saturday, and Carson and Michael will not be racing. So, this week we have three variants of the training, which are linked below. Evelyn’s training is being programmed by Coach Tueller, so she will receive that separately.
Racing 1600M and 3200M

III. Additional Information/Points of Emphasis
Again, here is this week’s video. Maybe at some point I’ll do something more exciting…but if I’m being honest, probably not.
